About MagniGlide

Keep the base. Replace the felt. The magnetic glide lifts off by hand, so routine replacement needs no re-gluing, digging out pads or special removal tools.

Designed by a maintenance professional with 16 years of hands-on experience with furniture glides. A screwdriver is needed for the first installation; the magnetic felt glide can then be removed by hand for cleaning or replacement.

Why ordinary glides need upkeep

Let’s be honest: most furniture glides eventually become a maintenance headache.

Adhesive pads can fall off and leave stubborn glue buildup. Nail-on pads can loosen as the mounting hole wears. Traditional screw-on glides can expose metal hardware to the floor once the felt wears through.

Even some modular systems introduce new frustrations: stiff plastic tabs, jammed friction fits, special removal tools and replacement pads that are difficult to pull out.

High-density, 100% virgin unbleached wool is secured with a specialized structural adhesive inside a recessed, cup-style housing. The housing is designed to help shield the felt’s edges from dirt, debris, pet hair and everyday wear.

A magnetic connection made for renewal

Four neodymium magnets in the permanent screw-mounted base connect to the wear glide’s steel interface. Unlike friction-fit systems, MagniGlide’s magnetic retention is engineered for repeated replacement cycles without wearing out the permanent base.

Inspect the felt regularly and keep it free of grit to support smooth sliding and floor protection.

The complete assembly settles to just under 5/8″ (approximately 15 mm) in height after 2–4 weeks of normal use, leaving approximately 3/16″ (5 mm) of felt extending below the protective cup. Check the mounting surface and dimensions before installation. Designed for chairs, tables, couches, side tables, bed frames, and other furniture with suitable wooden legs or wooden mounting surfaces. Suitable for straight or slightly angled legs—not heavily angled legs.

Common finished hard surfaces such as wood, laminate, luxury vinyl and tile. Test first, inspect the felt regularly and keep it free of trapped grit.
